removing SER subscriptions was created by atrawick

We have recently switched from using the serial subscriptions (SER) to mailing out magazines on cartridge from the library (MOC). We are wondering if there is any reason to keep a record of the SER subscriptions/cancel the subscriptions as opposed to just deleting them entirely from patron records? Appreciate any feedback, especially from those who have gone through this process before.

Note from the Keystone side: there's no technical reason that you shouldn't delete the SER- subscriptions instead of just cancelling them, it's just that we don't have a batch program to help you with deleting (and we do like keeping records for historical purposes where we can).

However, I do want to note that no one should delete the SER- serial records themselves from the Serials module. Those will still be needed for loading BARD statistics.
