Having much difficulty ordering books for my mother on your new system. I need to know if “downloadable” books are the same as the digital book cartridges she has been getting that go into the player. (not PC) And is there an option to show only books not previously checked out?

Downloadable books are ones that have to be downloaded onto a digital cartridge or flash drive from the BARD web site. These books can also be downloaded and played on your phone or tablet. The downloadable books are only available on BARD, most of the libraries do not have actually copies of them. At FL1G, we purchased digital cartridges, so we could use BARD to make copies of downloadable books for patrons who requested them. The digital cartridge or flash drive will play in your mother's player.
