I recently reviewed the NLS Readership & Circulation report pop up training video recording and I had a question that i thought I'd drop here. We use the date of Sept. 30 as our PURGE date. We typically run all of our required NLS FY reports and then we purge our Deceased, Suspend/Transfer 5+ year patrons from KLAS that evening. Is there any reason to continue this with the new data collection process? How will we know when the reports from Keystone have been transferred to NLS ? Am I over thinking this?

We would recommend that you continue this to maintain a consistent records retention process.
We are not yet sure on the details of the new data collection process and when the reports will be transferred. I'll keep my ears open and we'll be sure to let everyone know when we know more about any updated processes.
