PIMMS Patron Transfers was created by patrick20k
At the 2023 Users' Conference, we received a request for a Patron Transfers manual.
Transfers are covered briefly in the Reader Advisor Manual , but I'm very happy to expand on that as needed and provide it as a stand-alone document. To make sure that it will be as useful as possible, please browse through the "Transfer a Patron Record" section of the RA Manual and let me know: What questions do I still need to answer? What part(s) of the process do you want more detail on? Are there library-policy and/or NLS-policy that I need to cover, even if they occur outside of KLAS (such as sending the patron application)?

Maybe include information on the Process Outgoing tab. If I get a request and have the patron's new address, will I have the option enter it somewhere? Or will the gaining library need to do that?

Thank you--I will definitely cover the Process Outgoing tab!
Right now, there is no option to enter the patron's new address; the gaining library will need to update the patron's address once they receive the record.
