Front Desk Program And Service

Looking for faster way to provide Walk-In Patron Service. Is there anyway that I can find out the shelve location of materials without having to use both the Front Desk Program and Catalogue "Item List Function. For example once I find out if we have a title in the Front Desk Program, I have to go all the way out, go into the Catalogue Program and use item list to find the location of the item. Is there a Front Desk Link to Catalogue item list from the Front Desk Program so that I do not have to exit Front Desk to find shelve location?

I think it depends on what you're doing.
If you are looking for a way to open up Catalog while you have Front Desk open, from within Front Desk (so that you don't have to leave Front Desk), there is a way by going into the top menu to view -> Catalog and open up catalog this way. Depending on what you have in mind you could try using Book Search from Front Desk to find books and run it as a catalog search, which would bring up a list of items with their locations.
