Reports - What Reports do you Run? was created by josheaster
These could be questions for our monthly KLAS Admin open forum.
- What frequency do you run reports? Weekly/Monthly/Yearly
- What reports do you find helpful or essential as a KLAS Admin?
- How do you break your reports up? For example, into circulation tracking, completion adding of records, staff workload tracking, etc.

Hi Josh,
As it is the last day of the state fiscal year, reports are certainly trending! I use the Readership and Circulation report, scheduled for the end of the day about 8pm, for those stats of active readers. I also run on the Patron reports-Registration submenu "Patrons stopping service" and "patrons Reg/Restarting Service" report. (thanks Nancy).
I run the Circulation report for each medium, and I have attached some notes (thanks Katy) to get accurate numbers, as duplication include the cartridges not just the titles.
That's it from the KLAS reports.
The other things I collect are from the BARD Admin page, # of downloads by patrons/institutions, and # of times patrons in the network have downloaded our productions. It seems simple, but it involves multiple spreadsheets, including our subregionals.
I also get the RA stats of calls, emails, etc., and machine repair stats. Production includes large print and braille, and studio recordings. Also tracked are catalog records, programs stats, and outreach. This is all sent for review, once per year. The tracking goes on continually but can also be caught up as needed.
Thanks!
Maureen
