These could be questions for our monthly KLAS Admin open forum.

- What frequency do you run reports? Weekly/Monthly/Yearly

- What reports do you find helpful or essential as a KLAS Admin?
- How do you break your reports up? For example, into circulation tracking, completion adding of records, staff workload tracking, etc.

Hi Josh,As it is the last day of the state fiscal year, reports are certainly trending! I use the Readership and Circulation report, scheduled for the end of the day about 8pm, for those stats of active readers. I also run on the Patron reports-Registration submenu "Patrons stopping service" and "patrons Reg/Restarting Service" report. (thanks Nancy).I run the Circulation report for each medium, and I have attached some notes (thanks Katy) to get accurate numbers, as duplication include the cartridges not just the titles. That's it from the KLAS reports. The other things I collect are from the BARD Admin page,

If anyone wants to see the reports from last year, as an example, email me! It makes more sense with the numbers. There are 7 and there's a limit to posting here :)

There are several reports I find useful to schedule to run regularly so we can keep on top of things. I have an email rule that dumps all of these into a KLAS Reports folder so I can search through them as needed without cluttering up my main inbox.
Report: Duplication Order Status Report
Schedule: Daily at noon
Parameters: Order status Assigned, Titles Copying, Error, etc.
Purpose: This runs after our duplication run usually finishes so I can catch any orders that didn't go out correctly.

Report: Blocked Patron Report
Schedule: Weekly on Mondays at 9AM
Parameters: All blocked patrons
Purpose: Goes to our patron processing unit so they can review and check on patrons that have been blocked for an extended period.

Report: Patron Reserves/Requests Report
Schedule: Daily at 7AM
Parameters: All reserves and requests on Equipment
Purpose: Used by our machine unit so they know what type of equipment they need to pull for the day.
