Hello. When staff scans in books using Interactive Circulation Maintenance, occasionally the same book will be scanned in twice instead of two different books. If it is not caught immediately, then one book will not be switched to a specific random shelf location and will remain as SHELF. These can be found later using a shelf listing, but it would give me so much joy if KLAS could bring up an error message with a sound whenever the same barcode is scanned twice in a row, thereby preventing its neighbor book from becoming Location Unknown for a while. Please help us to find our lost sheep.
