Hi! I was wondering if it would be possible to have the scanner make a different sounding "beep" for an error versus a regular entry? That would be very helpful, especially when processing machines, as you may be facing away from the screen and dealing with many items on a cart. or, when processing check-ins for Duplication, if you are going quickly in a large stack, and miss one, and don't realize it until you get further from the error.
Thank you!
Maureen

I'll second the motion! Sounds helpful. (No pun intended.)

No can do on the scanner--it knows whether or not it successfully read a barcode, but it doesn't know and has no way of knowing whether the value it read was an error or if it was accepted.
However, the error message that pops up in KLAS does (/should) make a noise! Make sure the workstation the scanner is attached to has speakers and its sound on, and if the error message isn't triggering the Windows alert sound cue, let us know exactly where you were and what the error was.
