Patrons that are unable to speak on the phone often have a care giver, activities director or relative that can speak for them. It would be helpful if the note field for the phone number could also appear near the phone number in patron information quadrant (upper left corner that remains visible regardless which tab is open)
Examples of notes we might add would be:
Ask for Daughter (Name)
Ask for (Name) in Activities
Call after 10:00 am
I like this idea. It helps put useful information up front for quick access. Most of the tabs don't need as much vertical space as they have, so it should be OK to reallocate some of that vertical space to the patron information quadrant. That might add an extra visible line to the comments field, which would be an added bonus.
