Development Suggestions Forum Posting Guidelines

When you are posting in the KLAS Development Suggestions Forum, please keep the following in mind:

• Please construct your topic subjects in the following manner: Module - Function / Screen - Description.
  For example, Patron - Patron Main - Let KLAS read my mind when adding a new patron registration
• Please provide context when describing a feature or function. Be specific about:
  • how you are using the feature
  • the situation / problem you are running into
  • how your suggestion will help fix the issue you're running into
  For example: When I'm adding a new Patron into KLAS, it takes too long to type in the information from the application. It would be much faster if KLAS could read my mind and enter the information itself.
  
• If appropriate, including a screenshot or two can also help explain the function you are describing. Click here for instructions on how to do so.
• Topics may get renamed or moved to more accurately reflect the content.
• You may be asked to define terms you use in a post. Different libraries / organizations use varying language for the same activity / feature / function, and we want to make sure everyone is one the same page.
• If something is suggested that can already be done in KLAS, the topic will be moved to the appropriate module discussion thread with a description of how to do it.
• Topics will be closed once a consensus on an actionable item is reached. A post stating this will be made before the topic is closed.
