With the extreme cold hitting much of the country, many people are working from home this week. Are you?

If your organization wants to start allowing work-from-home, here's what you need to know.

Keystone-hosted
Contact customer support for the Remote Access Request form. This document covers our remote-access policy, lists hardware & software requirements, and lets you fill in the technical info we need to set everything up.

In brief:
  • Users who require a VPN must accept the responsibility of assuring that the computer they will use is secure.
  • All traffic destined for the KLAS Server network is logged and associated with the user.
  • VPN users will be automatically disconnected from the KLAS Server network after 30 minutes of inactivity or a total connection time of 8 hours. The user must then logon again to reconnect to the network.
  • The VPN credentials will be updated / changed on a regular basis.
  • The user will neet to manually switch between their office or home VPN settings.
  • The user and their supervisor need to sign the VPN User Agreement Form.

Self-hosted
Remote access for self-hosted customers is handled by their own policymakers and IT groups. If they have any questions about set-up or best practices for remote KLAS access, they are welcome to contact us.

We hope you have all been able to stay safe and warm!
