Equipment Reserves or Requests?

As you are receiving those DA2s, something to keep in mind:

Reserves will automatically be Assigned to patrons as inventory becomes available, with Veterans getting first dibs, followed by the oldest Reserves to the Newest. This is true for all physical items, including any type of equipment.

We usually recommend entering all equipment requests as Reserves to ensure that they go out right away. However, if you want to be able to Assign that first batch of machines to patrons based on your own criteria for who gets theirs first, tell your Reader Advisors to use Request instead of Reserve for DA2s until you are ready for them to start auto-Assigning. Just remember that those Requests won't go out automatically--you will need to Assign them yourself.

Have existing Reserves? The Requests Navigator in the Equipment module's Functions menu will allow you to find the DA2 Reserves and downgrade them to Requests if desired.
