Can we please have a new circulation report for who downloads what. This way, we can see downloads broken up by patron. As of right now, the only way to dot it is to run a circ report for "electronic circulation," take notes of the KLASID and then run a Checkout Review report to show the patron ID's. If an item is in the checkout review more than once, you then need to go to each patron's items tab and see how it was sent (hard copy/download).
If anyone has a different way of see who downloads, that would also be great to know.
Hey Saul, this is a good idea. I would be interested to know a little more about what you're trying to accomplish here.
Is this trying to track the check out statistics of a particular medium type? or just track in what format something is sent to a patron? I guess what I'm asking is if you were looking at an individual patrons profile or trying to see what an individual patron had checked out, couldn't you find that information on the items tab or by searching their has hads? I guess I would just be curious as to what the report would be used for to try and understand how the information could be compiled in a useable way.
Thanks for bringing this up in the discussion. As I was riding home last night, I thought of a possible solution to bring up in KDAC - Could another column be added in the Checkout Review report for circulation type (consumable, tracked, electronic/download)?
