Michigan here - new to KLAS and trying to figure out how to handle our On-Demand (OD) audiobook circulation. We've found that if we have the DB profile serve type as On-Demand, we cannot use the 'Fill' button on the service queue when the patron calls in wanting a cartridge. Our OD users are very much used to calling and building a cartridge with us over the phone based on subject and author preferences, and while we can search each individual preference with them, the Fill option gives a quick and easy way to run all preferences at once and then sort the results based on what the patron wants put on their next cartridge. But we can't use the Fill service queue option when the profile is OD. So... how do other libraries handle this scenario? What is your On-Demand patron situation?
