Printers for Mailing Cards

Can folks share what printer models you use to print KLAS Mailing Cards for duplication and roughly how many cards a day you print?

We have a 10 year old Microplex Solid F44 that is still chugging along, printing 200-600 cards daily. We have a service contract but that model has been discontinued by the manufacturer so I am concerned about the availability of parts if they are ever needed for repairs. I would like to have a replacement plan in place before that printer becomes a teenager.

We've also got an F44 and one to back that up in case it goes down. I didn't know they had been discontinued. I think a lot of folks use a Zebra printer, but I think the model most people are using is also discontinued. We have purchased a Zebra, but there were issues getting the barcodes to scan and line up, so I think KLAS currently has it and is working to reconfigure it for us

We have a zebra zt421 which we purchased about 2 years ago as a backup for our older Zebra and the new model has broken twice. However the old one is still as you say chugging away so I am withholding judgement. We print approx. 500 cards a day.

We also have a Microplex Solid F44, so I've been nervous and bugging NLS and Keystone since hearing the news. We may be receiving one of the printers that NLS originally sent out to Gutenberg libraries, but it won't be usable out of the box because the programming is based on that workflow instead of what we do each day with the Scribe. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can make something work, to at least be backup while we use the F44 through its end of life. We average 300 cards a day.
