I was doing some book searching for a patron and I came across an issue. The book that was requested was DB132626 (The Nantucket Restaurant by Pamela M Kelley), but I couldn't find it in our KLAS catalog. We have one that is similarly named but the number is DB101174. They are both on NLS with both numbers but we only have the DB101174 title. Is this the same for everyone else?
I did look into it a little bit more and it seems like according to the NLS site, the DB101174 was the original and the DB132626 is the reissue, but we don't have the reissue in our system however it is on BARD as well.
If you look at the NLS record for DB132626 it says in the 955 MARC tag "07 JAN 2026 BARD update" and the 005 tag says "20260109224029.7" (i.e. 2026-01-09) which indicates that NLS only recently updated this record.
I just checked the MARC files that NLS sent for January and I wasn't surprised that it wasn't there. More than likely it will be in the February Completed file.
The audio length of The restaurant by Pamela M. Kelley (DB 101174) is 5 hours, 34 minutes and the length of The Nantucket restaurant by Pamela M. Kelley (DB132626) is 8 hours, 7 minutes. The description on Goodreads includes this note "***Note, this is an expanded and revised edition of the book previously published as The Restaurant. One third of this book is new content."

I should have checked the December MARC load list. It was in the New02 file.
Madison, please check with whoever loads your MARC records and ask them to load that MARC file. Unless you're a library that we load records for and in that case, I sincerely apologize for skipping you.
