Interest in new audience note for graphic audio and booktrack titles?

We would like to know if there is interest in adding a new audience note that identifies titles that have music and sound effects as part of the recording. We recently noticed that the ISBN for DB125411 "Wild Thing" is a Booktrack edition. If a new audience note is added we would do our best to identify existing records to add the note to.

Would you be interested in having a way to identify these titles? What would that look like ideally for you? Do you think this would benefit RAs and patrons?

What is Booktrack? Unabridged audiobook plus music soundtrack
"Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout." (as described by Audiobookstore.com

Hi there, yes, this would be helpful. My first thought is that if people don't want these features, having a heading like "background music", would be a way to exclude those books.

Cautiously optimistic. How would this manifest itself in terms of a book search?

It would be just like searching for any other subject from an audience note (male narrator, female narrator, for grades..., etc.). I suspect we would backfill this by searching for the publisher.

MS1A would definitely be interested in this. Several patrons have noted that they do not care for dramatized books, so this would be a helpful preference option for them.

I would like to add that at FL1G, our members have asked in the past "Do Talking books have the same version of regular CD's?" I would like this as an option as a reader advisor! I have to say that I have jumped out of my seat in the past listening to a CD with added "gun shot "sound. I was driving home from work at night and out of instinct or stupidity ducked my head and looked around until it occurred to me that it was on the cd playing in my car! Happy May 2nd!
