Withdrawn DBF/RCF Titles

NLS' Foreign Language Collections area has recently been reviewing the collection and has withdrawn a number of early DBF/RCF titles. 

If you use Gutenberg, these files have been or will be pulled from your device. To prevent errors, you need to withdraw these titles ASAP, ensuring that they do not end up in any duplication orders. 
If you use Scribe, and/or have any physical copies of these titles, the files will not disappear on you--but we still advise you to withdraw the titles in accordance with NLS.

To withdraw a title:
1. Set the Title Status to "Withdrawn."
2. Remove all Subject Headings and the Series heading (if present).
3. (If using Gutenberg) Delete the eDoc.

If you think a title may be circulating via Duplication, I also recommend following these steps in the Patron module:
1. Use the Reports - Items & Titles - Patrons with Queued Title report to find any patrons with the withdrawn title in their Service Queue or pending Duplication Orders. 
2. For any Service Queues with the withdrawn title, either select and delete it, or use the Sanitize function to remove it without needing to find it in the list. 
3. For any Duplication Orders with the withdrawn title:

• Cancel the order
• Return titles to Service Queue
• Sanitize Queue or find and delete the withdrawn title
