Troubleshooting: Where have all the patrons gone?

Have you ever opened the Patron Module and found it... empty? No patron records in sight? This little issue crops up now and then and looks fairly alarming, so I wanted to spread the word. Next time you run across this issue, you'll know just what to do.

First, why does this happen?

When you open the Patron Module, it will put you right on the record you last had open, including putting you back in a query set. This is an issue when you were last in a query set and the patrons in that set have since been purged.

But never fear: there is a very easy fix: Click on "Show My Lib Only," then on "Show All Libs."

Toggling this option will clear the query set of purged records and release you back into the database.
